Volunteer

Volunteering with Lone Pine is an opportunity to truly do something of enduring value for the conservation of the Cold Creek area, to meet like-minded people and to have fun. There’s scope for all sorts of talents. Projects range from hands-on jobs, like tree planting and boardwalk building, creative public relations, wildlife and water issues, and planning for the future.

We would like to acknowledge our new volunteer Property Stewards who are now visiting a property monthly to see if anything is amiss and to record plants and animals they see. If you love the outdoors and are good at identifying flora and fauna found in our region, please inquire about opportunities.
We also would appreciate the skills of naturalists with help monitoring the biota of the properties. We conduct Bioblitzes but also appreciate participation in the Marsh Monitoring Program, bird counts, and other surveys we conduct at the properties to monitor populations. Contact us if you are interested!

We have opportunities to help maintain our properties this year; see the events page for more details and contact us to get involved.
